Jimin Fansite Goods

Hello you guys~~!

Welcome to my blog or welcome back to my blog. I haven't made a post on here in so long I feel like I forgot everything I already didn't know about HTML, lol. Since April, I really have just been putting all my creative energy into my Youtube channel. If you follow what I'm doing over there I just want to say thank you for the support! To get back into the swing of blogging I thought I would show you some of the goods that I've bought recently from Jimin fansites.

Let's go! :)

5 Bomb Ass Food Spots in LA | Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly

Hello you guys~~~! Welcome back to da blog. If you follow me on any of my other social medias, you'll know I just got back from a 4 day stay in LA. I love LA sooooo much. Not just because my best friend lives there, but because there is so much to do, see, and importantly, eat. I'm such a foodie so scouting out places to eat is my forte. My friend Evelyn and I are vegetarians, so I kept that in mind while I searched. So the places I'm going to share with you have vegetarian/vegan options as well as not! And FYI, my non-veg friends found these places just as yummy as we did! ;)

Café Gratitude

Café Gratitude is one that I've heard a lot about through some of my favorite YouTubers, and I can see why! This places is seriously Instagram worthy. We got our food served to us on a marble table with plates that asked "What are you grateful for?" The restaurant is so beautifully decorated with a lot of windows to let in all the natural light. I ordered the southern soul food, also called "Resolved" on the menu. It consisted of red beans & dirty rice, jerk tempeh, mashed maple yams, spiced collard greens, coleslaw, and a jalapeño cheddar biscuit. For my drink I chose the matcha green tea latte, also named "Vibrant." Let me tell you, that's one of the best damn meals I've ever eaten. Literally everything about it was delicious. I've never had traditional soul food, but if it tastes anything like this vegan version I'm all for it. One thing I especially loved about this place is that whenever you order one of their specialty drinks, i.e my latte, the bar tender will call out the order like this: "[insert waiters name] is Vibrant!" "[insert waiters name] is Blooming and Luxurious!" It's just a very encouraging and positive place to eat, I highly reccommend it. :)

Eko Eats

One of my favorite kinds of food to eat is Korean food. I got my first taste of kbbq in Dallas last year and for KCON 2016 I found an amaaaaazing place in Koreatown LA called Kang Ho-Dong Baekjeon. But November of last year is when I decided to go vegetarian so eating there again wasn't going to happen (sad face). So with LA being as big and diverse as it is I thought to myself, "There HAS to be vegan/vegetarian Korean food SOMEWHERE." And that's where I found Eko Eats. Eko offers chef-designed, Korean inspired meals that can be veganized and are all made with organic ingredients from local suppliers! What I got was the bibimbap (a Korean rice bowl) with roasted tofu and it was super super good. You can add chicken and/or an egg to it if you're not vegetarian. Also it's located in downtown LA, so if you sit by the window you can people watch like we did. :)

The Hive

On one of our mornings out in California we decided to spend the day out on the beach. After a very long subway ride we hopped off in Santa Monica looking for any place that sold acai bowls. Evelyn and I are no stranger to acai bowls but our friend Lauren was a newbie, so I found us a nice little spot called The Hive. I got the Hive classic acai bowl. It has a base of blended acai, almond milk, bananas, and vanilla. They topped it off with strawberries, more bananas, hemp granola, shredded coconut, bee pollen, and honey. Now for any vegans out there you can cut out the bee pollen and honey, but honestly after the research I've done on bees/how honey is made I think everyone should cut it out. Save the bees! They have agave, coconut nectar, and maple syrup as alternatives. :) One cool thing about this spot is that you can build your own bowl from the base up, so you have complete control over what ingredients go in it. And this isn't only an acai place! You can get sandwiches, salads, burgers, burritos, etc. And they go organic whenever possible!

Urth Caffé

I feel like everyone has heard of this before. It's a bougie LA brunch staple. I mean, even Kylie Jenner has eaten there. They pride themselves on their heirloom coffee and natural, non-toxic products. They have breakfast, all-day brunch, and then a lunch menu. I can't say anything about their breakfast menu because I went for lunch, but for lunch they have a pretty wide selection of food. Anything from sandwiches to salad, pizza, salmon, lasagna, etc. Urth even has their own take on Mexican dishes like quesadillas, tostadas, and tamales. Now a lot of these dishes already come vegetarian but you can vegetarianize others like I did. I got the Urth Quesadilla with grilled veggies instead of meat and soy-cheese (because I'm lactose intolerant). They also offer a variety of sweets and sooo many different drinks! I ordered the green tea for just myself not knowing it would come in a big o' french press, haha. Which, I mean, it worked out just fine because I got two full cups of tea out of it. But if you only want the one cup just....watch what you're doing when you're ordering...don't be like me hahaha. All in all, I really liked Urth. It's very instagrammable as well. We sat outside though and the table was really small for 4 people. Also it was super packed and busy when we went which I heard is the norm.

Ramen of York

For you night owls out there I have another yummy place to share. After a long day of doing god knows what we found that it was already 10pm and we had forgotten to eat dinner. I mentioned going down to Little Tokyo to see what they had to offer but it was a bit of a drive from where we were. So we googled a ramen place near by and ended up in Silverlake at a place called Ramen of York. They have most of your ramen bar staples like pork buns, tonkotsu, and a variety of rice bowls. You're probably thinking, "Doesn't sound to vegan friendly to me." But hold up! They have some options (not many) but a few! Which I appreciate! I got the vegetable ramen bowl which had bean sprouts, corn, mushrooms, tofu, broccoli, baby greens, eggplant, and chili oil in a veggie/miso broth and it was bomb dot com. They also have a vegetarian mabo tofu rice bowl which sounds just as amazing. It's a small bar type place so seating is kinda minimal just keep that in mind if you want to come with a large party. I came with 4 people and we all had to sit side by side up against the wall, lol.

Well there you guys go! Those were some of the bomb ass food places I ate at when I went to LA. :) Like I said, I'm such a foodie and one of the first things I look at when planning a trip to somewhere new is the food options! Can't wait to go back to LA and try even more great food. And of course, I'll tell you all about it!

Two Faced Sweet Peach Palette Review

So Too Faced came out with this eyeshadow palette that smells like peaches back in ohhh, summer 2016? And I was obsessed from the first set of teaser pictures. I have a weird obsession with peaches ever since a boy decided I looked like Princess Peach and he was gonna call me as such (corny right?). So this palette was a MUST for me. Sadly it sold out before I could get my hands on it. But luckily come December 2016 Too Faced announced they were going to restock the palette and add a glow palette and peach blush to the collection! I ordered mine straight from Too Faced with a 40% discount code making it come out to only $34. Merry Christmas to me. :')

You can purchase from any of these websites:

Now ya'll, I'm obsessed with this palette. I think the whole aesthetic of it is so cute. I love the bright ombre color of the case to the cute little emoji peach on the box. The fact that it SMELLS like peaches too is the best part. Not to mention all of the colors are to die for. The palette consists of a lot of shimmery shades, not so many mattes, but I'm perfectly fine with that because I love to sparkle. So if you're a matte kinda girl/guy this palette probably isn't for you! You also have a fair share of neutral colors but also a great selection of fun ones. I didn't edit these pictures at all because I wanted you guys to be able to see the eyeshadow's true colors (even though some are blown out by the sun hehe).
My favorite colors definitely are Just Peachy, Candied Peach, and Summer Yum.

I wanted to include close ups of these two so you can see just how shimmery and sparkly some of these shades are! I'm living!!
Also, I did some swatches for you guys. The first picture was taken in artificial lighting (ring light) and the second picture is what they look like in direct sunlight. Both are without primer and finger swatches btw! The majority of these have incredible color pay off but a few that I noticed I had to layer a little to show any color on my arm were the lighter shades like White Peach, Peaches N' Cream, Georgia, and Candied Peach. All of the colors blend beautifully though and even with the most basic of basic eyeshadow primers, they last for hooouuuurs!

Also along with this palette, I have one of the lip glosses from the collection. This one was a gift from my best friend for Christmas so thanks Shmev. :) I have mine in the color Peach Tease which is just a pretty pinky-peach color that smells just like the palette, though not as strong.

As I've said already, I love this palette so much. The colors are beautiful and I'm obsessed with the smell. I use this palette all the time and have created so many pretty eye looks with it. This is also the first ever high-end eyeshadow palette that I've ever purchased so that's exciting!

So, what are your thoughts on the Sweet Peach Palette?

GOT7 (갓세븐) - Flight Log: Turbulence [UNBOXING] | A Closer Look

Hello Ahgase! And if you're not an ahgase: welcome! I'm glad your GOT7 curiosity brought you to my blog. In today's post I'm going to be showing you the insides of one of my favorite albums of 2016. GOT7 had a comeback in September (happy freakin' birthday to me right?) with their second studio album, Flight Log: Turbulence. Let's have a look!

。*✧ 2017 Resolutions ✧*。

As much as I wasn't ready for it, 2017 reared it's ugly face. The beginning of a new year puts so much pressure on me. Every

January 1st it's like, "Okay , I HAVE to get my life together now" and then December 31st come around and I'm like, "Well shit."

Fingers crossed (& hopefully i don't jinx it by saying this cuz mark my words i'll honestly drive my car off a cliff if i do) 2017 will be the year that I

achieve everything I jot down right here right now on this post!

⓵ Get In The Best Shape I've Ever Been
I'm pretty sure I've said this every year since like 2012. But I'm horribly out of shape. I can run up a flight of stairs and need a 15 minute break. Like girl! That ain't good!

Continue My Vegetarian Journey
I haven't mentioned this really anywhere except Twitter but hello, I'm vegetarian now! Wow how fitting since I'm already a stereotypical opinionated, liberal, hipster, millennial amirite! They all go hand-in-hand huh? :-) No but seriously. I talk about how much I love animals and how I think that people shouldn't be allowed to hunt them for sport because it's f*cked up, yada yada yada. But then people would always clock me like, "Girl you eat meat tho." and I was like, "Damn you got me there." So I took a step back, had a moment of self-reflection, and realized, why do I value the life of one animal over another? The lives of all animals are precious. Whether fluffy, cuddly ones you can keep in your home or not. Going on 3 weeks strong, let's continue another 49 more!

Reach 10k Subs on My YouTube Channel & Expand My Brand
I think if I can shell out consistent videos, that 10k will be mine by the end of the year. Also, my channel is very reaction heavy so I'd like to get back into my beauty/lifestyle roots! Sprinkled with reactions that is.

 Start a Bullet Journal
If you don't know what a bullet journal is it's basically a customizable organization system. It can be your to-do list, notebook, diary, sketchbook, or a combination of all of the above all wrapped up in a pretty little moleskin journal. The creative possibilities with these things are all your own and they can become little works of art that also keep you on task.

Some of my favorite bullet journalists:

 Better My Korean
I can read it. I can write it. But understanding it is still a complete miss. I can catch some words or phrases, but I still can't sing along to all of my favorite songs. It gets frustrating so I want to tackle the obstacle that is this language barrier!

  Be PUNCTUAL
My #1 top flaw as a human being is that I can never be on time to anything. I literally was 45 minutes late back to work today because I fell asleep on my break. Who does that?! So, this is something that I definitely definitely definitely need to work on.

⓻ Get My Bank Account Back On Fleek
I've always been fairly good at saving money, so my bank account used to look real nice. But about 2 years ago I was in and out of the hospital on top of losing my job. So all of my bills + being jobless for months depleted my bank account. So I wanna kick ass and get my money back up. :-(

⓼ Learn Calligraphy
This kinda goes along with the bullet journal thing. I LOVE writing. Not in the sense of making up stories but the ACT of writing. I have countless notebooks that I'm always jotting down lists and things in. So I'd like to learn calligraphy to make my lists more...appealing to the eye.
